“There are very few individuals that can produce and care as much as Clinton. I worked with him for a few years and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. He took time out of his day to help his team. He strived to care, teach and lead his team to success. He is very knowledgeable and willing to learn anything new that might be thrown his way. I cannot express my gratitude in working with him and his ability to make himself available.”
About
A customer-first operator with a service mindset.
I focus on building trust with customers and teammates — pairing technical problem-solving with the empathy and clarity that make complex work feel simple.
First 30 days · inheriting a book of business
The best saves happen before anyone realizes there is a problem.
Strong renewal management means identifying risk before it is obvious, slowing the chaos, removing blockers in the right order, and guiding the customer to safety. Then reviewing, finding patterns, and iterating so the next renewal is cleaner.
Key principles
- Separate noise from real risk.
- Once risk is clear, speed matters — delays compound.
- Act early so the customer never feels the chaos.
- Pattern recognition, prioritization, calm execution.
- The best saves happen before “at risk.”
- Every renewal teaches the system. Iterate and improve.
Listen first. Touch nothing. Take notes like a detective.
When I inherit an existing book of business or a customer success operation, I resist the urge to rearrange the furniture on day one. The first 30 days are for understanding — not optimizing.
- Meet every customer I can. Ask what's working, what's annoying, and what they wish someone would just fix already.
- Shadow the team. The playbook in Confluence and the playbook in practice are rarely the same document.
- Audit the data — renewals, health scores, ticket trends, NRR. Trust the numbers, then go ask the humans why.
- Identify the quiet wins worth protecting before I propose a single change. Every process has a reason — even the weird ones.
By day 30, I've earned the right to have an opinion. Then the real work begins — with context, trust, and a plan the team actually wants to ship.
